I walked up to the engine and couldn’t help my self and admire the view I had.
As I watched Bailye up top he turned his head and gave me one of his cheesy smiles, that did not work with me, but would always makes me laugh. I took out my phone and was able to capture this beautiful picture.
This memory will for ever stay with me unlike you. I understand everyone needs to move on but you were like my older brother you left me. I don’t blame you, you were looking to improve your career and I understand.
I just look at this picture and begin to remember our memories we created together. This one especially because I was still new to the department and after giving me your smile you said “come on up here and try it out.”
When the Chief asked me who do you want to be on shift with, I picked you. Till this day I know I made the best decision on that day. You motivated me to become the person I am today. I just really want to say how much I miss you and being on the same shift.
Don’t worry this is not the last you will hear of Bailye, the one who was able to break my safety bubble.
A- shift was and will continue to be the best one!
